Here are some more of those photos from Be’eri (which is in the northern Negev) with barley grass. You can see that the barley is still in a very immature stage of development. I’ll be checking a little further south as well. Specifically where the barley was found to be Aviv in 2018(?). The location of the photo I use for this group. The rain has been super sparse down in that area. If the barley going to be in a more advanced stage of development it will probably be down toward B’sor.

You can tell those poppies are just now starting to show up. When they get going they will look like a red carpet. This Jewish cowboy likes his hat, lol

Thank you Abba for providing us such good photosUpdated Feb 7, 2020, 2:22 PM

It looks like we have anemonies in Re’im! WOOHOO, it’s gonna be close but it’s looking possible to have a 12 month year! We have to wait on the barley to be aviv, but anemonies and almond blooms USUALLY happen a month before the barley is aviv.

Just like the almonds, I had just checked and ‘pitom פתאום’ (Hebrew for suddenly) anemonies are there.

I tried to get down there today and but had a low tire this morning I needed to see about, I’m heading there early, early in the morning to get back before Shabbat.

That we have almonds on one day and anemonies the next? SUPER exciting to see what’s going to happen.Updated Feb 8, 2020, 11:00 AM

https://www.jpost.com/Israel-News/Israel-is-blooming-the-flowers-have-returned-for-spring-580455*******This article is from February last year (2019).******* By the 19th of last February, the significant flowers were in bloom. By significant I mean the flowers that nature lovers make an asserted effort to go see and photograph before they fade away for the year. It’s a very short window that we get to enjoy such beauty. As far as I know, there are a few almond trees blooming around J’lem but the ones that I have seen would have been ahead of schedule because of where they were planted

The anemonies are near the Re’im junction. It will be interesting to see how the poppies are tomorrow. I’ll be looking not only for blooms but for budding plants that have not opened yet, or immature plants without buds

IMS is back online! I have my rain percentages all across the nation again. Besor farms across to Beer Sheva are the places that I will be focusing on when I take my trip south, now on Thursday. Tomorrow will be hot and sunny in the region and experience tells me at this time of year a day of sunshine can make a BIG difference in what you see. Waiting just one more day is a wise decision.Updated Feb 4, 2020, 6:39 PM

We are in the process of changing vehicles. It has become a necessity for my husband to have a taller vehicle. He lives with Cipro damage that has eaten the cushion between the vertebrae of the spine and neck, he is in constant pain.

The car that we have now is very low to the ground and with his physical limitations, he can hardly get in or get out of the little Chevy Spark. It also has very poor shock or suspension (?) that keeps the road jarring his body/spine.

I’ve located a Fiat Qubo that we took out today for a drive, it’s just his height for getting out of the vehicle without pain. I know the owner of the vehicle and he has all of his maintenance records of the Fiat. I know this person so well and I trust him, he has become such a good friend to my husband and I. If we’re in a pinch he comes in a moment.

The list price on the car is 22,000-26000 NIS and he’s offered it to us at 12,000 NIS. He’s called on insurance quotes for on the vehicle for us and he also committed to helping me navigate the world of mechanics when the vehicle needs something. He’s truly a good person.

12,000 NIS is $3,482.76, not much but we live at the limits of our budget, in our current location the landlord raised our rent $433 a month. This took slack out of our budget; which was fine until we needed to change cars.

In getting rid of the Chevy we will gain $650.41 a month to our budget and have a little slack in the budget again.

If you can help I would so appreciate it, anything you can do. My paypal is rivkahbider@gmail.com or reach out to me by private message if this method does not work for you. I understand that you may not be able to give but please stand with us. It’s a long story, but I do believe this vehicle is an answer to prayer that I’ve been praying over for about a year nowUpdated Feb 4, 2020, 5:20 PM
