On March 27, 2023, we suffered from a house fire. While I was out running errands, I received a phone call from my husband indicating our home was on fire. My husband called the fire department immediately. Although the fire was put out fairly quickly, the majority of our main home has smoke damage as well as the rental apartment. The kitchen was damaged beyond repair; however, we are pleased to announce our kitchen has been restored.
We are renters of this property, so we were solely responsible for the damage. Fortunately, neither my husband nor I were not injured nor were my rescue parrots or dogs. Praise Abba!
The funds we received were used to replace the kitchen, repair any damage to walls and ceiling, paint both home and apartment, repair any electrical damage, and replace personal items such as kitchen items, furniture, etc. This fire has been devastating for us, so we were very grateful for help.
