It’s cold and cloudy today. Does that bother me in light of the command that we would be required to go up in a few days and live for a week in J’lem for Unleavened? No.

Where was Peter when Yeshua was being examined in the palace of the high priest?

**Mar 14:54** And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.

**Luk 22:56** But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him

**Joh 18:18** And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; ****for it was cold****: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.

Even today we in Israel do not live in first-world conditions. Hotels may have central heating and cooling, the vast majority of homes do not.

I can tell you when it’s cold outside our concrete houses are damp and cold and they hold that climate for at least three days until the dry hot sun has changed our internal conditions. When it’s hot the opposite is true. There are few, few, few well-sealed and insulated homes in Israel that you can set a thermostat and walk away from. We try to keep the climate tolerable in one room and the rest of the rooms in the house are just pass through zones.

Now to the subject of ‘seasons’. Modern English and the KJV used the terms of summer and winter. If you have been following me you KNOW that I say we only have hot and dry or cold and wet for our choices……If Peter was COLD it would still be WET; that’s what we are being told, it was in the wet and cold season in the year that Yeshua laid down his life.Updated Mar 1, 2020, 11:40 AM
