I was tagged in a question from another Facebook group and asked when it looked like the calendar would start this year. Here’s my response:

“I can tell you that at this point there is really nothing to look at in Israel. Everything green and is extremely short. Not only the barley but the wild mustard and mallow that proceed the barley is not even at a tall enough stage it can forage here in the north. I have friends in the south by Gaza that sends me photos of the land developing and I can say it’s pretty much the same there. The wild oats, which proceed the barley, are not nearly ready to make their heads. As of this morning, we are still having heavy rains in the north and it’s cold. As noted by so many in the past if the water from heaven shuts off and the heat came on everything would change as a dizzying speed although it would be very short. Right now I can agree that it appears we will need to allow an extra lunar cycle for the barley to mature.”

To this group, I will add that it is unseasonably cold and it is forecasted to continue to rain and be cold in most regions across Israel with Mount Hermon taking more snow as well. Yay for what this means to the Kinneret! Our levels might actually measure full in the lake for the first time in over 50 years! Praise you Abba!

That’s it for the land check-in. It’s too wet and cold to be out there on the land for long. All that hard-baked dry clay has now turned into gumbo until it finishes covering itself with a green carpet.

The Canaan dogs aren’t very happy. They want out and want right back in because they don’t appreciate the cold wet, but then they’ve forgotten in 15 minutes and want out again 😳🐹🐹🌧As soon as the stores open up today I will be seeing the butcher to buy them a couple of big bones to hunker down in their kennel with so that none of us suffer too much. Dog whines are like the noise of a screaming child…..it hits a certain nerve in me and runs through my body and I can’t ignore it. It forces me to interact with the giver of the whine. 🥴 So we’re all just looking for some peace today…..what DID Noah do?!??! it’s a wonder he wasn’t crazy after a year in the ark shut up with animals…jk, Elohim had it under control.Updated Jan 19, 2020, 4:20 PM
