It is my conviction that we should be consuming unleavened barley bread for the week of Unleavened Bread because the Wave Sheaf was barley. I realize that we aren’t all on the same page. So……I will be posting barley matzah recipes AND wheat matzah recipes for those interested in making your own. Further, if you have a personal favorite recipe and would like to share it I will approve the post. I want to make it very easy for everyone that wants to make their own unleavened bread to be able to do so without having to search out a bunch of untried recipes and get frustrated. Who knows…..I may even make a video or two on making unleavened bread.

The one thing I would suggest is that no matter what you make the Matzah out of remember that it was called the ‘bread of affliction’. I would suggest keeping the ingredients ‘unsweetened’, to a basic amount of ingredients: flour, oil, salt, and water.Updated Mar 20, 2018, 6:17 AM
