It doesn’t seem to be able to upload to youtube, but anyway, here’s the barley Matzah recipe…unfortunately the feed was skipping in and out. I did my best
Edited: Three attempts to make this video, when it finally went up on YouTube it was taken down my YouTube. They said, “it violated their terms of their community”????!!!!! Speechless. A violation of graphic content???!!!It doesn’t seem to be able to upload to youtube, but anyway, here’s the barley Matzah recipe…unfortunately the feed was skipping in and out. I did my best

I have made the video about the Barley Matzah recipe 3 times now!!! The first two would not upload to YouTube. I’ve never had that happen to me before. The third time I finally streamed it and YouTube is still chocking on this video! Honestly, <sigh>. There must be something important in the video if there’s this big of a battle over it. I’ll post it as soon as I can. I know Passover and UB are coming at us head-on.Updated Mar 22, 2018, 3:08 PM

I wonder how this will affect us during the Holy Days….I can’t imagine. Oh, yes. It’s a noble act, a correct stand, but in the mind of the PA everything is the fault of Israel. Pretty sure they will try to punish someone and we sit just next door.

A tried and trusted recipe for unleavened bread, I believe that this was a Karaite recipe that I had stumbled onto:
Ingredients:
4 cups flour (NOT self-rising or containing rising agents)
2 heaping tablespoons of crushed coriander seeds (also called “cilantro”)
1 level teaspoon salt
3/4 cup olive oil
3/4 cup of water and add more as needed
Tools:
oven
flat cookie sheet or other flat cooking tray
large bowl (to knead the flour in)
Bread Pin
blender, food processor, or coffee grinder
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius (356 degrees Fahrenheit)
Oil the cookie tray.
Grind the Coriander in the blender or coffee grinder.
Mix the ground coriander and salt into the flour
Add the oil and knead it into the flour
Gradually knead the water into the dough until the dough is no longer sticky
Flatten the dough with the pin until it is 1 cm (about 1/2 inch) thick; shape it to fit on the cookie sheet.
Place the dough on the cookie sheet and cut into squares or triangles
Stick in oven
Cook for 15-20 minutes until crispy (like a dry cracker)Updated Mar 22, 2018, 3:48 PM

Please DO filter my comments and posts as follows, I have posted this as recently as the first of March and it will be pinned for a while again:
You must understand I can come off as direct and blunt, or irritate or offended when I post or chat sometimes. I’m not. I really don’t like typing so much so my responses are brief and direct. Also, I have been out of the US for more than 10 years. First in Latin America. In the process of learning Spanish, I had to think about what I was saying and form simple sentences in the briefest more direct way to be understood. Ever learned a new language when it doesn’t come easily? I never became fluent in speaking Spanish, however, I could understand the written much better than I could form an oral sentence. Now the same process is happening in Hebrew. I have to form simple direct sentences. After more than 10 years of this brain process, it has translated itself into my written words even in English. Moreover, I think in root words these days and when I write in English you will notice I drop the ‘s’ a lot. Or ”examine’ instead of ‘examined’, etc. If you ask me a question and I give you a blunt short answer. I’m not mad or irritated and you are not wasting my time. Ask anyone who has met me I am a very loving and kind person face to face. On paper, I look differently.Updated Mar 20, 2018, 1:03 PM

https://elanaspantry.com/grain-free-matzo/Grain-free matzah, I have made this one. It definitely doesn’t have a ‘bread taste’ to it. It can be a little difficult to work with.
