Some of you may have known Ari Fuld’s Israel Defense Page or his personal page Ari Fuld. It’s with a sad and honored heart that I tell you Ari laid his life down to keep other Israelis from being hurt by the terrorist that had stabbed him. The story Follows:
While in Gush Etzion, Ari was stabbed by a 17 year old Palestinian. Insted of waiting for help for his own injuries Ari chased down and shot his attacker so that his attacker could not harm other Israelis in the future. Another armed settler delivered the intimate shot that took the life of the terrorist who had stabbed Ari, but Ari’s selfless action were too much for his injured body and he succumb to his wound.
Ari was a Zionist. He was not afraid to stand in the face of a Muslim full of hate and ask him hard questions. He was supporter of the settlements and stood by their rights to reclaim the land that was given to our forefathers. He was a passionate supporter of our young IDF soldiers and was constantly putting his actions where his mouth was by feeding, counseling, housing and clothing many of the young men.
Ari was also a husband, a father, and an IDF reserve soldier who loved his country and his countrymen.
Israel will be a little poorer without Ari. I will miss his integrity, his passion, commitment and outspoken love of Israel.
