Kenny Russell announced a thirteenth-month while holding domestic barley in his hand and saying that it is not Aviv, then he mudded the waters and mentioned reports from the Negev which were reports about the volunteer barley and not the domestic crops. Domestic and wild barley are completely different crops.
If you hear his announcement I wanted you to be aware of his error so you don’t become confused.
What he also doesn’t tell you is that he probably believes that the barley needs to be Aviv in the 12th month the way the Karaite groups do. I surmise this from his statement the barley is not Aviv and he’s adding a 13th month.Updated Mar 8, 2019, 5:33 PM
