After a lot of thought, I’m ready to write to you about the project that I have been launched on.

The project is called: The Root of Love and Life

I’ll open the information by saying that Torah, the covenants of Elohim have always represented love and life to and for the people He would call to Himself to represent Him on earth, therefore, the root of love and life is the Torah.

*Deuteronomy 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; *

Believers understand that Messiah is that root, or word made flesh. Roman’s 11 clearly spells this out:

*16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. *

This past season of what the Bible calls the* turn of the year* I was taught so much about this very subject. Yes, there is an article that will cover some of the information I was taught this year. I would like to have delivered to you by now, however, we don’t always control the outcome of things so more patience is required of you and I. When it is finished (in Yah’s time) I will release it. Cliff hanger: Did you know that every covenant between Elohim and man was offered during the season of *love and life? *It’s breathtaking!

The article has the same name as the project: The Root of Love and Life. As part of this understanding, I have been asked by the Ruach to develop the property we are on in a sustainable manner. That process has begun and is well on the way. There’s a lot more work to do before the goal of a* food forest* is achieved.

Within this process, I’ve been tasked to understand planting and harvesting of food, all the foods, that this plot will grow by Elohim’s calendar, that is, from the emerging barley plants and the leafy greens that point to its appearing and even the entire year.

Yes, even though we are brown and dangerously dry now there are still foragables on the Land. Currently, I’m collecting caper buds and berries from the wild caper brushes in our area. Many of the species of wild foods will be included on the plot.

These foods are not for our bellies, though we will meet some of our food needs by them. This is the true meaning of not muzzling the ox, to eat from the things that grew from the land (as Levites) and to be supported in OFFERING by the ones you minister to 🙂 . Mat 20:1-16; Luke 7:10, 1 Timothy 5:18, Acts 4:32. All of the words of the Torah had/have a literal and a spiritual meaning.

*Mat 20: 4** **And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

Luke 7:10 *** ***And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

1 Timothy 5:18 ** **For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

Acts 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

There should and I believe there will be an abundance of food to feed the community we live in. Even people of villages around us as need and opportunity arise.

Elohim will draw those whom He is calling. He provides the harvest, I water and plant. Aren’t His words demonstratively amazing?

*1 Cor 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. 7** **So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.*

MUCH of the drip irrigation that will be needed to establish the *food forest* is already in place. The process from a sustainable garden to *food forest* is five years unless the Father blesses the growth and so far I have seen amazing things from this plot.

Two HUGE loads of shredded trees have been delivered. One load of shred and part of the second have been distributed about the 1/4 acre (1 dunam) property to a depth of 20cm or almost 8 inches. There will be settling and the depth will and is diminishing a bit. There looks to me to be enough to add to what is in place when I finish covering the rest of the earth here with the shredded trees.

Not only does this material keep the earth cooler against the extreme sun of the Middle East but this will become the floor of the *food forest*. The material that will be added to the plot yearly will be from the deciduous trees (those that shed leaves) and from the pruning back of the rest of the trees (nitrogen-fixing and fruit-bearing) at the *turn of every year* when things need to be opened so the sun can touch the earth and the inner parts of the trees to bring forth life. As the year progresses and the sun heats up those opening in the trees will fill back in and provide the needed protection from the now very hot sun.

Within my being the Ruach has whispered if the children of Abraham are reconnected to this Land by use of the Torah and touching the earth many will see our Messiah. Many will reconnect to the Root of Love and Life the way that Elohim designed men to learn and understand His words.

*Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: *

Except, they are no longer in the books of their fathers, they are in the books of their rabbis. They are no longer caring for the earth, they covered it with cement and lay down artificial grass or they live in situations with nothing to care for on the earth. They need to SEE a different way in action.

In about 1.5 to 2 months I will begin planting the fruit trees to add to the food forest’s seven layers. I plan to do it the old way, with the onset of the rains.

This location’s thrust is to be a living example of caring for the Land, working WITH the Land and not against it, by the calendar of Elohim, which is also the covenant of Elohim. Without His calendar, His Feast days are not known and all of this is set to the cycles of the earth right here where my feet are standing, on the Land of Israel.

Is this a big bite? YES! it’s a big bite. Bigger than me. But Elohim has already given miraculous provision in strength (mine and others) and finances.

Putting things in His order, that of caring for people in a natural (food, etc) and spiriual (torah) manner, with all of our resources which all came from Him, this is His will and His way.

I will not be selling you anything to support this effort. No videos, memberships, books, nothing. I am asking you to pray, pray, and pray some more. For Elohim’s provision, direction, and my sensitivity to His will.

Ask for the Father to provide travelers to rent the apartment (see at: https://www.facebook.com/Shade-of-the-Olive-Tree-××¦×-×¢×¥-××××ª-1179562505527578/?modal=admin_todo_tour ), rather as Paul we are selling a temporary dwelling (sukkah) for those visiting Israel. All of the money gained from the apartment, our money that He gives us to support ourselves, and other money that the Father has miraculously provided specifically for the use FOR THE LAND (it still amazes me that it was earmarked for that, even without me mentioning a thing to anyone but Him) has been invested into the development of the property for His glory and witness.

Pray, pray, pray. Pray for laborers, pray for the Father to provide (spiritual and physical) harvest. Pray for His continued provision.

One a final word.

I’m asking that you not share any of this that I’ve written publically to your timeline, in a newsletter, etc. I am not yet a citizen. I have to complete my residency time which is finished in Feb 2020, then I can apply for my citizenship and they will check everything they can find about me during my time here to grant or deny my request. If my good friend who is a Holocaust survivor’s daughter is fighting for her right to be a citizen because her mother baptized her and therefore the government says she’s not Jewish, what hope do I have if I am found active in such project that aspires to connect Jewish people to their Root?

If you want to ask those you know well to also pray, please do so without a mention of the location or my name. If you feel led to please like and follow the page for the apartment to help get the word out. There may be those you know who would enjoy staying at a self-sustaining organic location operated by Follower of Messiah Yeshua. This is a way you can easily ‘support’ this effort. But above all pray, especially the individuals who said you would pray when I previously asked for prayer support!

Where has the Father sent you to labor? Where is the field in His world that He has placed you to labor? Roll up your sleeves and work where you live. What did Yeshua tell the demoniac that wanted to follow Him?

*Mark 5:18 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. 19** **Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, **Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee**. 20** **And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.

***All because he was hired to work an area of the field of Elohim and obeyed.*
