Yep, yep. When I asked to see this specific place at the end of my tour of the City of David at that time the tour guide said you can call it whatever you want but the experts haven’t decided if it’s an area of sacrifice or not……..Looks like Eli has decided and even went public with his beliefs! It’s a sacrificial floor. Whoop, whoop!

You all know what I believe about the area the temple stood. It stood ON Mt Tzion. I believe the whole tel of Mount Tzion was ‘cleansed’ and leveled to the bedrock during the days of Simon the wicked priest/king (as the Essences called him) and that after the bedrock was reached another temple was built on and into the bedrock that was now free of all past historical defilement by the nations from Egypt to Greece. This area fits perfectly with what would have happened after the cleansing of the Land. It was all left to begin to build on once the debris was carried to the valleys around Mount Tzion. Just like Hezekiah did in his day, only Simon went all the way to the bedrock

Yes, Mount Tzion was a tel with multiple layers of previous nations that had lived there. Before the Amorites had it history records Eygpt also occupied it at an earlier date. In fact, Egyptian records hold the oldest known reference to the term Jerusalem. They will tell you this much on the tour of the City of David.Updated Jul 29, 2019, 5:40 PM
