On Sunday and again today the explosions coming out of Syria have been louder and more earth and house rattling than the entire history of our time in this locaton.
Late in the morning the red alerts were going off all along the border with Syria; from the northern most point of the Golan to across from our location (which is Golan 5 on the red alert map). The IDF fired two David Sling missiles into Syria from Tzfat.
It’s said that Syria is fighting with ISIS. In the end all projectiles are said to have fallen on the Syrian side.
I would appreciate your prayers that we aren’t forced into a situation where we have to decide to stay in our location or leave (we are 6K from the Syrian border, approx 3 miles). I would hate the pressure and thought of leaving my post with these animals I am responsible for, both mine and the animals of local vet who is currently on vacation.
We do not fear what the enemy may bring our way, but we also do not welcome what the enemy wants to try to bring our way.
