Final info on the new moon report:
When the moon appeared tonight it was just suddenly there. Many months I can see it through the binoculars and then need to wait for it to be visible to my eye.
Tonight I found it with the binoculars and when I took down the binoculars I could already see the moon with my eyes.
So it was a 7:30 with binoculars and 7:30 naked eye sighting. The moon was at approximately 270 azimuth.Updated Sep 1, 2019, 12:20 AM
