“Concern in the defense establishment:
A large Iranian attack by the end of next week in the northern sector, fearing that the attack would drag Israel into fighting on two fronts, Syria and Lebanon.
I don’t think it will be on only those two fronts, but Hamas will also start up a front with the instructions coming from Teheran as well.
I have also heard through the security forces ‘grapevine’ that a direct rain of missiles from Iran into a major Israeli city is also being tracked and feared.
I must say that this would be a very grave mistake on their part as we do have defensive systems against medium and long-range missiles, but they don’t have any defense against an Israeli response that would be very deadly for them.
They would be getting into a situation that they would not know how to get out of.
And not that we will need it, but America will be ‘itching’ to make a contribution towards their (Iran’s) misery that they will find themselves in.
