I could use your prayer.

First, I’d like to say that I’m not griping and I am grateful for Elohim’s provision. He has been providing greatly for us. During a time when tourism is completely shut down and we are dependant in part on rental income our unit as it would happen has continued to be occupied.

There’s a lady from Canada that came to stay with us for a little while back in December and is now grounded here because her ticket carrier El Al is not currently flying.

Normally, we have breaks in-between occupants and I have a day or two of rest. This year, as you may recall, as soon as barley inspections were completed here in Israel we went straight into quarantine on biblical 1/15. Basically, I’ve had precious little recharge time since the end of the 12th biblical month and we have just entered the 3rd month. I feel this is part of the reason that the New Moon watch almost got by me this month, my plate is too full and things seems to now be sliding off of that plate without me noticing it. This bothers me.

It’s not known at this time what is going to happen with our renter. She will go to immigration on Sunday. She could well need to stay another month. And I need strength to get me through another month of running our house, the gardens, and the up-keep of the rental unit, new moon watch, wild wheat etc without letting anything fall from my plate due to lack of endurance in strength and focus.

Thanks.Updated Apr 25, 2020, 10:09 AM

True confession. I let the new moon slip up on me. Good things someone asked me when the new moon would be.

However, with that said we are under that big red sky full of dirt that I showed you early in the day. There was no way to see the moon tonight. I’ve been looking around in the other groups and so far it doesn’t seem that anyone saw it. And we still have that stupid 100 meter law that limits my movement too.

If I see anything from the other groups I’ll let you know but I’m not expecting it….maybe in the south near the crater, but maybe not since the dirts coming out of Egypt

Also since it is Friday, the Israeli New Moon Soc will not send out their report until Sunday.Updated Apr 25, 2020, 6:34 AM

This is what you look for in Israel to know the season is changing. Not rain or lack of it.

Shorav or Chamsin usually arrives with a dust storm, and muggy weather. It usually marks the end of all rains.

Shorav is a more technical term you would hear from the weather service. Locals call it Chamsin with is a derivative of Chamasim or 50, because that’s how long the hot blowing gritty winds usually hang over the landThis is what you look for in Israel to know the season is changing. **A look at the condition of the wild wheat

**we also need to understand that just as the barley is ripe in the south before it is ripe in the north the same would be true of the wild wheat **IF** I could ever locate some. Wild wheat is extremely rare, there’s a spiritual reason behind this fact.

On the left is a photo of the wild wheat from the 9th of April. On the right is from today the 14th of April. You can see the wheat is really beginning to fade from green to a more tan color while at the same time it is starting to show more black. From here it will really start to turn black.
