If anyone has had good experiences please let me know. My husband has macular degeneration, glaucoma, and a bad LASIK surgery in his history to boot. We find it usually takes an ophthalmologist to be able to successfully prescribe him glasses that actually help his vision. So far we have been unsuccessful in Israel. If your reference works with Maccabee insurance all the better. ThanksUpdated Jul 29, 2020, 10:31 AM

I found this photo when looking for something else, but I thought you might enjoy the photo as much as I did.
Remember when I told you that a raven walked up to my husband and asked for food? The little guy literally walked up to him and called out to him. Just like in the book of Job in the passage I posted the other day. This baby orev (raven) was out looking for his own food and asking for help.
Of course, I’m the wild animal person/tamer/trainer in the house. When my husband called me to come outside I brought the orev inside and gave him water and canned cat food. He stayed until he was full-sized and I released him.
We called him Edgar Orev Crow….yes it’s corny. We had a blast with him, what extreme intelligence they have
This was Edgar in the very beginning. He always made eye contact and looked me straight in the eyes….those wheels inside that fuzzy black head was always turning
He kept the property cat-free for a long time after his release. First, you would hear his call somewhere off in the sky then Edgar would descend on the top of a meandering cat which then the cat would take off at high speed…..lots of good memories of Edgar
He sure made the small verse in the book of Job come alive for me.
Job38:41 Who provides food for the raven,
When its young ones cry to God,
And wander about for lack of food?I found this photo when looking for something else, but I thought you might enjoy the photo as much as I did.

https://youtu.be/07lLMRfKgYUYou know, the belief system we have meaning the things that we have come to understand either by independent study or listening to those that teach, shape our understanding of scriptures.
In my life, it is certainly true. As I’ve continued to study and have the land of Israel in front of me, it has certainly shaped my understanding. I’ll be the very first to admit that I had no idea it would influence so heavily how I understand scripture. Frankly, it’s reshaped practically everything I believed even as a Torah Observant Believer
So, the point of this short discourse it a simple statement: I will continue to share my land-bible lessons to the group. It’s certainly b’seder (in order, ok) if you don’t agree with what I believe. I am not nor do I want the job of the Ruach (Holy Spirit). I am His perpetual student. However, since what I believe also influences my annual inspection of the wild barley that is needed to establish the first month in the Biblical Calendar, I’ll continue to share my studies.
The idea is that you know where my head is and if you don’t agree you can adjust your sails accordingly.
You’d be amazed at the constant influx of info I get about people who are still trying to damage my reputation. I truly want to thank them and the people that approach me with the information. They have no idea how it helps my walk of faith. The very first thing I do is run to Abba and have a check-up. I submit myself to Him for correction and direction. Then I get up and forgive them as if it never happened and walk forward.
Yes, you will hear me mention the attacks but it’s not because I want you to feel sorry for me. Rather I’d prefer to hear my Abba say to me, “thank you for being an example of my love”. So, with these mentions I am only trying to live before you openly and exemplarily, reflecting my Abba. Bring everything into His glorious light so darkness is expelled.

What do you notice about this photo of an old postcard from Israel that I found on ebay while I was doing research today? It’s a very exciting photo for me.
I notice the barley is wild and the wheat is black! Oh, how I hope that this can be revived in the hearts and minds of the Israelis!
Isn’t Abba awesome when He encourages us? Yes, I know His voice, but sometimes He just drops these little nuggets just like this in our laps!
The back of the card quotes Deut 8:8 🙂

I shared this with my study group today but I also want to share it here.
There are so many scriptures that hid nuggets in them about the timing of the land, this is one of many.
The end of Job 38 and 39 give a beautiful description of the changing season from dry and dead to The Time of Life here in Israel which is green and alive.
This is my translation from Hebrew to English as I can also ‘see’ from my experience exactly what is being said
Elohim speaking to Job in covenant language (btw)
Job 38:36-41 who can number the clouds in wisdom or who can tip the bottles of rain in the heavens when the dust grows into hardness and the dirt clots cleave fast together as hard as stone?
(this is now in Israel our clay dirt clots are like stones from lack of rain)
Will you hunt the prey for the lion or fill the appetite of the young lion when they crouch in their den or lie in wait in their lairs?
Who provides food to the raven when it’s young ones cry to God and wander about without food.
(I actually raised a young raven here in Israel that walked up to my husband and cried for food, seriously.)
39:1-4
Do you know the time the ibex of the rock gives birth? Do you guard the calving of the deer? Can you count the month they carry their offspring or do you know the time they will bear?
They kneel, they break forth, they birth, they send out their twisted cord. Their youngs ones are strong and healthy there are great numbers in the wheat (or grain). They leave and don’t return

Abba Elohim willing, on the next new moon sighting for Yom Teruah or the seventh month New Moon, I have plans to watch for the New Moon from on top of Mount Tabor, the supposed location of the transfiguration and the ascension.
Regardless of whether Tabor is the location of these events it is one of the Levitical mountains that were used with signal fires to relay information from the Temple to the diaspora.
Since the elevation should place me significantly out of the heavy haze and it will be an important night I think going there is a good idea. Is it a Yah idea? We shall see….Updated Jul 26, 2020, 6:00 AM
