Here’s how I understand the appointments.

Yom Teruah remembers the voice (ram’s horn) at Sinai. And a return of understanding being added to the words of the Torah that we have heard and will hear.

Yom Kippur is another atonement, this time for the sons (nations) of Noah. Passover was for our benefit but was a lamb for a household, the household of Abraham.

The seven days of Sukkot bring in the harvest of the olives (and I believe the palm trees). Olives are the offspring of the olive tree in the book of Romans. Which indeed the olive tree conceives or bloom at Shavuot! Palm trees according to the Psalms are righteous men.

The last great day is the number of circumcision for the offspring of the olive tree (the messiah and his first bride) when the final ingathering will culminate.Updated Aug 20, 2020, 5:40 AM

This will be a growing list by the way

Facts: there is no commandment specifically stating that the new moon has to be seen in Israel.

Fact: There is a commandment that an offering of flesh and fire was to be made on the night of the new moon in the Temple

Nu 28:11 Then **at the beginning of each of your months** you shall present a burnt offering to the Lord: two bulls and one ram, seven male lambs one year old without defect.

Fact: there are laws that we cannot keep that were commanded, such as the temple offerings or to know exactly how the tzitzit were worn and what they looked like.

Fact: We SHOULD keep what we CAN keep.

Even though there is no temple to offer a New Moon sacrifice we can still easily receive the news that the new moon was seen from Israel.

Another thing to consider is what is your PURPOSE for observing the Biblical Calendar? Is it because you are remembering the work, the redemption offered in the blood of the Messiah for us all? If this is why then should you remember the day(s) according to the timing that HE used? I think so. If it’s not about being redeemed by the Messiah, then what is it about anyway?

If we look for the timing of the barley, wheat, etc here in Israel why do some negate the moon? because my Bible says the sun and the moon here in Israel bring forth the fruit of them

Deu 33:14 KJV And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,

If Elohim, has in the past, used the New Moon over Israel as a determiner of His feasts AND of His prophetic events (i.e. the coming of the Messiah and the sacrifice of when he gave his life) how will we know WHICH moon in WHICH time zone He will use for future prophecies? And if each person is only fixed on the moon in their part of the world will they recognized the future fulfillment of prophecy as Elohim or miss it because it wasn’t on the correct timing of the moon in their region?

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16 **And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. **Rev 14: 15, 16

Yes, what we are expecting is a harvest from humanity. If we establish the beginning of His year by the barley harvest, wouldn’t Elohim establish His coming harvest from humanity by the same prophetic calender He used so that we can recognize HimUpdated Aug 19, 2020, 7:29 PM
