The Israeli New Moon Soc sent out their observation chart, I’m attaching a chart with their’s that displays how to use your hand to measure degrees in the sky.

When the instructions say a fist left of sunset, it is 10 degrees east of the sunset (here in Israel). One handspan above the horizon is 25 degrees. These measurements are made with the arm fully extended.Updated Feb 13, 2018, 8:10 PM

Hamas and the West Bank are going to try to make terror attacks. Iran and Syria will regroup and see if they have anything left to attack us with. Hezbollah in Lebanon will keep probing for an in-road.
The same old stuff that never changes. If things take a turn for the worse I’ll update you.

We are expecting another day of ran and then I need to get out of the house and see what I can see. I’m hoping to get to Hula Valley Reserve and check on the Egyptian storks. I am not convinced that the birds in flight in the video the other day were the Egyptian storks so I want to take a run up to Hula Valley to see what’s up there.

We’ve had an upswing in attempted terror attacks since the skirmish with Iran, that’s to be expected. Hamas called for all muslim to protect ‘the occupied Golan Heights’……see what I mean. They gained Gaza, they think they’ve gained the West Bank. If they gain 1/2 of Jerusalem do you think they will be satisfied with that? Naw, they need to protect the Golan Heights now. They would not be satisfied until the last citizen (other than a Muslim citizen) was pushed off the land into the sea or dead.

* Two Muslim women with guns and a knife stopped in the Jordan Valley
*Two IDF soldier lynch in Jenin
*an attempted stabling last night
*an infiltration from Lebanon into Israel

“A report of a truck that broke through Qalandiya checkpoint a short while ago.

The summation is that the wild barley looks great, it’s built to take the kind of weather we have, plus Elohim promises that as long as the earth reminds so will seedtime and harvest. However, the nearby domestic fields are blighted from (I believe) too much rain at the wrong stage of development. It is full of huge brown/yellow patches when in previous years it has looked like a beautiful golf course
