Joel Moshe Salomon Street in Jerusalem, Israel’s storm system is antiquated at best, the heavy rains of the last two days totally overwhelmed the system.

A friend of mine posted about trying to keep the river out of his apartment in the dark yesterday evening. The rain took the power out yesterday, too. He said towels in the cracks around the doors wouldn’t stay bc the force of the water was too great.

Such a sorrow. I don’t know who would take youth hiking in a Wadi (dry river bed) in forecasted rain. But it cost the lives of lots of children in Israel today. The nation of Israel will be in mourning over tomorrow and Shabbat
