An overabundance a Swiss chard from our property.

I’m not just a seasonal barley inspector that scours the land 4 weeks out of the year. I grow food from the earth in Israel 12 out of 12 months. I know how the earth speaks to the season and the timing of it.

There’s not one person that has ever come here to the garden who is not amazed at the abundance and the green appearance regardless of what Gregorian month they visit.

Do I use permaculture practices? Yes. But that’s not so rare in Israel and that’s not why this small parcel of land yields an overabundance.

Leviticus tells me if I keep the Commandments Elohim and rest on the days that His calendar reflects that we should rest than my basket will be blessed. We also need faith to be redeemed through His Messiah

This is why I have an overabundance and I’m always giving food to people in the village. And those people are asking me for food because the flavor and quality is superior to anything you can find in the market.

I’m not blowing my own horn or puffing myself up. From the beginning I have believed that this is exactly what I’m supposed to do as impressed to do so by our Yah.

It is here in this parcel that He has provided a training ground for me to understand the seven first fruits offering of which the very beginning firstfruit is the barley. The constant sound high flying military aircraft has filled our skies from yesterday evening and continues this morning without many pauses.

As my husband said “something is wrong”. Meaning there’s a military event in progress.

Apparently, it had something to do with Damascus, Syria. By bedtime here in Israel on our Saturday night, the first official day of the Biblical New Year, the IAF struck Damascus with the airforce’s military might.

There’s nothing new under the sun and the Old patterns still hold true in the land of the Torah:
