Hi, can someone please help me understand a few points about the immigration laws. First of all I’m a US citizen married to an Israeli citizen and I am in the third year of process of becoming an Israeli citizen, currently I’m a resident A5. How long does it take for me to become a citizen of Israel ? I have been told three answers by the misrad hapnim: that it’s 3 12-month cycles, it’s 4 12-months cycles and that it is 5 12-month cycles before I can be considered for citizenship in Israel. ALL of these answers came from the misrad haPnim! My next question is as a resident A5 in process of citizenship how many weeks am I allowed outside of Israel to visit my family in the United States. Previously I have taken six consecutive weeks with no issues. Today I was told when I received my multi-entry Visa that if I go for 6 weeks I will lose time against my residency program that I am only allow 1-3 weeks. So I asked her if my previous 6 wk trips had affected my waiting process for citizenship to which I was told no everything is in order. I just want some straight answers I will even pay an attorney to get them but I just need to know what the rules are. IF someone were to level a tel where would a consequent temple be built other than on bedrock?
