Our temperatures reached 108f/42c yesterday. And the sun and heat did exactly what they were meant to do here on the land of Israel, they ripened the wheat.

So much of what I thought I was going to be able to harvest today had shattered or reseeded itself and what hasn’t disintegrated in my hand.

Today our temperature is supposed to reach the same as yesterday and for a couple more days to come….the wheat harvest finished due to the Father’s will.

With that said, He sure did provide us quite a treasure chest of wheat to plant in the seventh month which is not as far away as it seems!

Btw way, my wheat that I grew has now turned white. Isn’t that amazing? The Father built in an external ripening indicator on the emmer wheat. When it starts to pick up the black color it can be harvested in dough, when it turns white the kernels are completely tooth jarring dry.

When I went out at 7:30 it was already 75f and I came back at 10:30 it was already almost 90f. Good to be inside and out of the fields. Our temperatures reached 108f/42c yesterday. And the sun and heat did exactly what they were meant to do here on the land of Israel, they ripened the wheat.
