I have to share them as I find them 🙂 besides, I don’t expect next year’s barley inspections will be anything different from last years so it’s wise to be armed early.

On the subject of rain in the first biblical month, and more specifically during the harvest time. We have two sure witnesses in scripture that the banks of the Jordan River overflowed during the first month and specifically during the days harvest.

And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (**for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time (it says days in Hebrew) of harvest,) Josh 3:15

These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, **when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west. 1 Chron 12:15

Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. Joel 2:23,24

This would also Support why Peter had to warm himself by the fire when Yeshua was arrested. As I’ve said before, in Israel if it is raining it is cold.. Since Peter was warming himself by a fire it was cold therefore it had recently rained or was raining

Now we could say that the snow on Mount Herman melting could cause this flooding of the Jordan. But in our generation melted snow from Mount Hermon does not begin to reach the valley until April. And they also say our days are hotter now because we have MUCH fewer trees.

What’s more likely is rain was causing the overflow of the river.Updated Jul 15, 2020, 6:58 PM
