Selfishly, I would be quite happy if it were necessary to intercalate another lunar cycle for the barley to mature. I wait all year long for the dusty, brown, crunch earth to yield to this beautiful expression of life. And what a short season it is. If Yah wills another month and for the lockdown to end I will take joy at being able to be on my beautiful green Israel
