Here are my thoughts on the machine gun fire towards our drone coming from the Israel side.
From the north end of the MIDDLE Sea of Galilee towards Mt Hermon and eastward. From the east side of the Galilee and eastward all use to be Syria. When you drive the road you can still see the old Syrian stone houses standing in the fields abandoned. They stand as trophies I suppose… I’ll attach a map and circle the area I’m referring to.
The news is saying that spent casing from machine-gun(s) were found in an empty house. I’m guessing it was one of these old Syrian houses were utilized by the terrorist. There is border crossing on this border, the Bedouins come and go to see family across the line frequency. There is a joint apple harvest held on both sides of the border as Boudins raise apple orchards in the Golan Heights. Even though the border lines have changed they still have family and interests on both sides.
My thought on this news: It’s only announced the spent casing that were found, not a terrorist and what we are hearing in the sky still after 1.5 hours PROBABLY is a manhunt for the infiltrators
Inside of the red circle is where the vast amount of Syrian houses remain. You may remember last year when I was out scotting for wild wheat I accidentally crossed over into a field that had a posted sign lying on the ground concerning landmines. It was in the red circle near the Galilee. The blue circle is all the land that Syria lost to Israel. When Syria was in possession of that side of the Galilee it was normal for them to fire on Israeli boats finishing in the Galilee and to shoot rockets at our ridge.
